About CED

For more than 50 years, the Center for Executive Development (CED) at Mays Business School has provided customized management training for organizations in a variety of industries. Each CED program is created in partnership with the client, and the structure, content, curriculum, and location are designed to achieve the goals of each individual organization.

CED clients vary in size, industry, and mission, but are unified in their goal to develop the future leaders of their organizations. CED currently serves over 2,000 students and hosts over 83 weeks of programming a year. Our clients include:

Dr. Ben Welch

Ben D. Welch is Assistant Dean for Executive Education and Clinical Professor for the Department of Management in Mays Business School at Texas A&M University and has led the Center for Executive Development since 1993. He has previously served as the Director of the Department of Student Activities for Texas A&M, Director of the Mays Business Fellows and Honors Programs and as the Associate Director of the Center for Teaching Excellence at Texas A&M.
